The Furber Steps offer amazing scenic views as they descend into the valley. The vegetation ranges from low heath to dense rainforest with tall tree ferns.
Walk is very steep, however the track has railings and fair quality steps, with a few short wet patches. The views of Katoomba Falls are impressive. You can combine this walk with a visit to Scenic World, which is located 100m from the base of the steps.
